Sporting club cleaning

Game day leaves a mess.Monday morning shouldn't.

Change rooms, toilets, clubrooms and bars, cleaned after training and game day. Courts get only the method their manufacturer approves, and the committee gets a record of every visit.

The scope

What a club clean includes. After every game day.

This is the standard clean. Your scope lists the rooms, the courts and the days, so the committee can check every visit against it.

Every club clean

  • Change rooms, showers and benches
  • Toilets cleaned and restocked
  • Clubroom floors, tables and chairs
  • Bar and canteen benches, green cloths only
  • Bins emptied and liners replaced
  • Entry glass, door handles and rails

Common schedule

  • Change room tile and grout scrubMonthly in season
  • Court clean, manufacturer's methodWeekly or monthly
  • Clubroom carpet extractionPre-season and post-season
  • High dusting, fans and ventsOff-season

How we do it

Each floor has a rule. We follow it.

Toilets and showers

The mud comes out first.

After game day the toilets, showers and change rooms carry mud, strapping tape, grass and body oil. Loose debris is swept out first, then the tiles and grout are scrubbed and the dirty water picked up, not pushed into the drain. Red cloths for toilets and showers stay in those rooms.

Clubrooms and the bar

Green cloths behind the bar.

Bar and canteen benches, fridge fronts and the floor behind the counter get green cloths kept for food and drink areas only. The function floor is swept and mopped, tables and chairs wiped, and sticky patches lifted before the next event, not mopped over.

Courts and halls

The manufacturer's method, nothing else.

Timber floors get a damp microfibre and a neutral cleaner, never a wet mop, because standing water lifts boards. Sports vinyl such as Taraflex and the line marking get only the method their manufacturer approves. A generic scrub-and-seal can strip the lines and void a warranty.

      Questions

      Sporting clubs: questions.

Can you clean straight after game day?

Yes. Most clubs book the clean for Sunday night or Monday, so the change rooms and clubrooms are ready for Tuesday training. For finals or a carnival weekend, extra visits go into the scope with their own dates, and they show in the visit record like any other.

Will you clean our Taraflex or vinyl court?

Only with the method its manufacturer approves. Sports vinyl and its line marking can be damaged by the wrong pad or chemical, and a generic scrub-and-seal can void the warranty. We confirm the product and its care guide before the first clean, then follow it.

Our clubrooms are very dirty. Can you do a deep clean first?

Yes. A once-off deep clean resets the place: change rooms and toilets scrubbed, the bar and canteen degreased, hard floors machine-scrubbed and the clubrooms cleaned top to bottom. After that, a regular scope keeps it at that level, so the club isn't starting from scratch every season.

How does a volunteer committee check the work?

Through the record. The scope names the rooms and the days, and each visit is logged with times and time-stamped photos. Whoever the committee picks can see what was done without being at the ground when it happened.

Do you clean the canteen kitchen?

The benches, floors and the outside of appliances, yes, with green cloths kept for food areas. A deeper clean of the cooking line, canopy and fryers can be booked before the season starts. More on commercial kitchen cleaning.

Book a look at the club. Before the season starts.

A 15-minute walk-through of the rooms and the courts, then a written scope with the price, set around your fixture.
