Pubs, bars and restaurants

Cleaned after last drinks, ready before the doors open.

We clean pubs, bars and restaurants after close: the bar, the dining and gaming floors, washrooms, the kitchen floor and the beer garden, so the venue is ready when the first shift arrives.

The scope

What a venue clean covers. Every visit.

This is the standard clean. Your scope lists each area, the hours and how often, so you can check every visit against it.

Every visit

  • Bar tops, back bar and fridge fronts wiped down
  • Dining, gaming and lounge floors cleaned
  • Washrooms cleaned, restocked and floors scrubbed
  • Kitchen floor scrubbed and floor wastes cleared
  • Entry, beer garden and smoking area swept
  • Bins emptied and the bottle area hosed

Common schedule

  • Hard floor machine scrubMonthly
  • Carpet extraction in dining and gamingQuarterly
  • High dusting, fans and ventsQuarterly
  • Pressure clean of the beer gardenEvery 3 to 6 months

How we do it

Cleaned for how a venue is used. Not how an office is.

Heritage floors

No acid on old tile.

Tessellated and checkerboard tile in older pubs is often original. Acid cleaners etch it and dull the glaze, so we use a neutral cleaner and a machine scrub instead. Sticky patches from spilt beer lift with time and agitation, not a stronger chemical.

Washrooms

Scrubbed, not just wiped.

Venue washrooms take the hardest use of any room in the building. Toilets, urinals and basins are cleaned and disinfected, dispensers are restocked, and the floor and grout are scrubbed and rinsed so the smell doesn't come back by the weekend.

Outside

The beer garden counts too.

Smoking areas, courtyards and the bottle area are swept and cleared every visit, with the bins left clean. Pavers and concrete get a pressure clean on a schedule, which lifts the gum, spilt drinks and grime a broom leaves behind.

      Questions

      Pubs and restaurants: questions.

Can you clean after we close at night?

Yes. Most venues are cleaned after close or early in the morning before the first shift. We agree the window at the walk-through, along with alarm codes, lock-up steps and where deliveries come in, and it all goes into the written scope.

Do you clean up vomit and spills from the night before?

Yes. Spills, broken glass and vomit from a normal night of trading are part of a venue clean. They're cleaned up and the area disinfected during the visit. A serious incident is a different, specialist job, and we'll tell you if that's what it is.

How often should a pub or restaurant be cleaned?

A venue that trades every day usually needs a clean every trading day, with washrooms and floors done each time. Machine scrubs, carpet extraction and high dusting sit on top as scheduled tasks. Your trading hours and how busy you get decide the pattern, and we set it at the walk-through.

Can you do a one-off deep clean?

Yes. Before a reopening, after a refit or ahead of a busy season, we can clean the whole venue once, or just the parts that need it, such as greasy walls, floors and the kitchen. The scope lists what's included before we start.

Do you clean the kitchen as well?

The kitchen floor and drains are part of the regular venue clean. A full kitchen deep clean, with canopy filters, equipment and walls, is a separate scheduled job, and it can sit in the same scope. See commercial kitchen cleaning.

Book a walk-through. Before you open, or after you close.

Fifteen minutes on site to see the bar, the floors and your trading hours, then a written scope with the price.
