The scope

What a clinic clean includes. Every visit.

This is the standard clean. Your scope names each room, its zone and how often, so you can check every visit against it.

Every clinic clean

  • Waiting room chairs, counters and touch points
  • Consult and treatment rooms: couches, benches, sinks
  • Washrooms cleaned and restocked
  • Hard floors mopped with zone-dedicated mop heads
  • General bins emptied and liners replaced
  • Staff room and kitchenette

How we do it

Infection control is a sequence. Not a spray bottle.

Clean to dirty

The washroom is always last.

The visit starts in the treatment rooms and ends in the washrooms, top to bottom in every room. Grime comes off first, then disinfectant goes on and stays wet for the contact time on its label. Red cloths never leave the washroom. Yellow never leaves a clinical room.

Mop heads by zone

A mop doesn't travel.

Each zone has its own mop heads and its own water. A head used in a washroom is bagged for laundering, never carried into a consult room. Reception, offices and corridors sit in the blue zone, so the dirt from one area stays in that area.

Once a month

Vinyl gets a machine scrub.

Daily mopping keeps clinic vinyl presentable, but film builds in the grain and along the edges. A monthly machine scrub lifts it. Slip-resistant safety vinyl is always scrubbed, never just mopped, because a mop leaves dirt in the texture that gives the floor its grip.

      Questions

      Medical and clinics: questions.

      Do you handle clinical waste?

No. Clinical waste and its containers stay with your licensed collector. We empty general and recycling bins, replace the liners and clean the bins themselves. If a clinical bin looks full or near its fill line, it goes in the visit notes for your practice manager.

How do you stop cross-contamination between rooms?

Two rules. The work runs clean to dirty, so treatment rooms come before washrooms. And every zone has its own colour of cloth and its own mop heads: yellow for clinical rooms, red for washrooms, blue for general areas, green for the staff kitchen. Nothing crosses zones.

Will the products damage our equipment?

We clean surfaces, not instruments. Benches, couches, chairs and the outside of fixed equipment get products your practice has approved or that suit the finish. Screens and anything with a manufacturer's cleaning instruction get that method. Sterilising instruments stays with your clinical team.

How often should a clinic be cleaned?

Most practices need the waiting room, consult rooms and washrooms cleaned every day they open. Some quieter clinics run three visits a week. Monthly vinyl scrubs and quarterly detail cleans sit on top as scheduled tasks. The walk-through sets the frequency room by room.

Can we see what was done each visit?

Yes. Each visit is logged with the time on site, the rooms done and time-stamped photos. Scheduled tasks show the date they were completed. If you're asked to show how the clinic is cleaned, the scope and the visit history are ready.

Do you clean vet clinics and physio practices?

Yes. Vet clinics usually need a heavier floor routine and sometimes a strip and seal. Physio practices often mix carpet, consult rooms and rubber gym flooring, which needs a pH-neutral cleaner. The scope lists each surface and its method.
