Clean from the lobbyto the last corridor.

We clean the parts of a hotel guests walk through and the parts they never see: lobby, lifts, corridors, function rooms, public washrooms and back of house, plus scheduled deep cleans of guest rooms.

The scope

What a hotel clean covers. Every visit.

This is the standard clean for public areas and back of house. Your scope lists each area, the hours and how often, so you can check every visit against it.

Every visit

  • Lobby, reception desk and entry glass
  • Lifts, inside and the doors
  • Corridors vacuumed, edges included
  • Public washrooms cleaned and restocked
  • Function rooms cleared and reset after events
  • Staff areas, back of house and bins

Common schedule

How we do it

Worked around the guests. Not through them.

Reception lounge with an armchair on a clean timber floor

Front of house

The lobby, done in the quiet hours.

Reception, the lobby lounge and the entry glass are cleaned overnight or early, when foot traffic is lowest. Hard floors are scrubbed with a method that suits the stone, tile or timber, and nothing is left wet where guests walk.

Public washrooms

The rooms that get judged first.

Washrooms off the lobby, the bar and the function rooms get the heaviest use. They're cleaned, disinfected and restocked each visit, with grout and floors scrubbed on a schedule, so the room smells clean as well as looking it.

Function rooms

Reset between events.

After a wedding, conference or dinner, the room is cleared of waste, the floor is vacuumed or mopped, and the tables, bar and nearby washrooms are cleaned. The reset is booked around your event calendar, so the room is ready for the next setup.

      Questions

      Hotels: questions.

      Do you clean guest rooms?

Yes, as scheduled deep cleans. We work floor by floor while the rooms are empty: carpet extraction, bathroom tile and grout scrubs, high dusting, skirting boards and the inside of the windows. Daily room servicing usually stays with your housekeeping team. If you need it covered too, raise it at the walk-through.

Can you clean without disturbing guests?

That's how the work is planned. The lobby and public washrooms are done overnight or in the quietest hours, machine work stays away from occupied floors at night, and corridors are done in sections. The hours are agreed in writing before we start.

Do you clean the hotel's bar and restaurant?

Yes. They're scoped the same way as a standalone venue: the bar, the floor, the washrooms and the kitchen floor and drains, cleaned after close. See pub and restaurant cleaning for what that covers.

Can you clean rooms after a refurbishment?

Yes. After a room or floor is refurbished, the dust, adhesive residue and packaging need to come out before the rooms go back on sale. It's scoped as a once-off clean, room by room, with the new finishes checked first so the method suits them.

How often should corridor carpet be cleaned?

Usually extraction every six months, and more often outside the lifts and the restaurant, where the traffic is heaviest. Guest room carpet is done as part of the floor-by-floor deep clean. The method depends on the fibre, so we check it before anything gets wet.
